Ronald Joseph Reader

Ronald Joseph Reader, age 64, of Creve Coeur, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026 at 9:14 p.m. at his residence.He was born December 5, 1961 in Pekin to Gerald and Marilyn (Norris) Reader. They preceded him in death.Survivors include three sons: Stephen (Ann Osborne) Strothers of Creve Coeur, Gerald Strother of Peoria, Michael Strother of Tennessee, one grandson, Bradley Strother of Creve Coeur, and two brothers: Steve Reader of Tucson, AZ, and Mike Reader of Iowa.Ron was a United States Navy veteran. He was a self-employed contractor specializing in roofing. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors.Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a celebration of Ron’s life at a later date.
