Ronald Ludovico Isacco

April 11, 2026 Dignity Memorial

Ronald Ludovico Isacco, 88, was born and raised in McKeesport, PA. He passed peacefully on 4/11/26 at his home in Jacksonville, Florida.

Ron was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His parents and three oldest siblings immigrated to the US in 1922 from Palena, Italy. Ron was the youngest of 5 kids. He grew up in a suburb of Pittsburgh and was a dedicated Steelers fan. He graduated from Quinnipiac College in New Haven, CT under the watchful eye of his sister Julie. He joined the army in 1960 serving in Ft Dix New Jersey.

He moved to Jacksonville in 1965 and had two sons Ronnie and Michael. He spent 25 years working for Sears where he met his wife of 41 years Karen Lee Isacco. After retiring he became a real estate agent, broker and eventually an appraiser. Then he began rehabbing “lovely” properties to keep himself busy during the last 15 years. Ron and Karen traveled to Italy and loved to visit local festivals around the southeast United States. They took many cruises with family and friends. He loved to bet #24 on the roulette wheel. His favorite cruises had escargot on the menu every night.

He was a good-hearted people person to the core and could make friends with just about anyone. He was known for his kindness, work ethic, humor and generosity. He showed love through action—always putting family first, offering guidance without judgment, and being present when it mattered most. His stories, lessons, and laughter will live on through generations.

He is survived by his wife Karen, his sons Michael and Ron (Robin) Isacco, and his two grandsons Michael and Joshua (Kelsey) Isacco. He was predeceased by his Father Ludovico, Mother Filomena, Brother Anthony (Josephine), sister Mary (Nick) Tocco, sister Julie (Tom) Neclerio, and sister Lena (Frank) Blaha.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Interment and Celebration of life will be private.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Jude's Children’s Hospital.
