Rosalie Durst, 88, of Charleston, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026.
Rosalie was a woman of lifelong faith whose relationship with the Lord was central to her life. Her faith gave her strength and comfort and shaped the love she showed to her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Durst; and her parents, Goldie King and James King.
She is survived by her children, Shari and Mike Woodrum, Denise and John Foster; her grandchildren, Sarah and Bobby Lewis, Jonathan and Emily Foster, Cameron and Katie Moore; and her great-granddaughter, Lily Rae Lewis. She is also survived by her siblings, Janie Rogers and Jim King and their families.
Rosalie will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of the Lord. Words cannot express the gratitude, love, and appreciation for the care she was given by her son-in-law Mike Woodrum whom she loved dearly. Per her wishes there will be no service.
