It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Rosalinda G. Riojas, who was born on July 9, 1953, in La Villa, Texas, to her loving parents, Ramona Medellin and Leonardo Gonzalez.
Rosalinda was a hardworking and devoted woman who always gave her very best in everything she did. She was known for her strength, dedication, and the love she shared with those around her. She was the beloved wife of the late Mario C. Riojas, with whom she shared many cherished years and memories.
Rosalinda found great joy in her creativity and in making things with her own hands. She loved knitting and especially enjoyed quilting, spending countless hours creating beautiful quilts, scarves, and hats. She lovingly made these special pieces for her grandsons, family, and friends—gifts that carried not only her talent, but also a piece of her heart. Through her handmade creations, her love and warmth will continue to be cherished by those who received them.
Rosalinda is survived by her son, Mario A. Riojas and his wife, Nereida Riojas; her beloved grandsons, Mario A. Riojas Jr., Bryan D. Riojas, and Giovanni G. Riojas; as well as her brothers and sisters, along with numerous relatives and friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mario C. Riojas; her mother, Ramona Medellin; and her father, Leonardo Gonzalez.
Rosalinda leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, hard work, creativity, and devotion to her family. Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she created and the love she shared will live on through her family and all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her beloved husband and those who went before her.
