Roxanne Montoya

July 17, 2026 Aumond, Quebec Dignity Memorial

Roxanne Montoya, 38, was born June 13, 1988, in New Mexico, and passed away July 17, 2026. Roxanne resided in Aurora, Colorado. She will be remembered as a beloved presence—an amazing woman whose steady independence showed in the way she met life with resolve, warmth, and unmistakable spirit.

Roxanne grew up in New Mexico with her two brothers. She graduated from New Mexico State University, where she pursued pre-nursing and hospitality, paths that reflected both her care for others and her determination to build a meaningful life.

In her professional years, Roxanne managed several hotels, bringing capability and dedication to her work. After her daughters were born, she devoted herself fully to home and family as a stay-at-home mom, giving her time and attention to the people she loved most.

Roxanne met and fell in love with Cody, and they shared 10 beautiful years together. She was a devoted mother to their daughters, Taya and Lola, and her love for them anchored so much of her life.

Roxanne found joy in simple, vivid pleasures: golfing at Heather Ridge Golf Course, especially the feeling of grass beneath her feet; traveling to Disney Land at least five different times; hiking in her younger years; and shopping—each a small celebration of the world around her and the moments that made it bright.

Everywhere Roxanne went, she could light up a room. She was personable, humorous, and could quote just about every movie made—an effortless gift for connection that made others feel at ease and left laughter in her wake. Her legacy lives on in the love she gave freely, the strength she carried quietly, and the memories that will continue to be spoken with gratitude and respect.

Roxanne is survived by her beloved Cody; daughters, Taya and Lola; brothers, Sam and Justin; sister in law, Ashley; brothers-in-law, Aaron and Brant; parents in law, Marlys and Rick; best friend, Sharina; and 4 nephews and 2 nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Teri and beloved dog Enzo.
