Ruben Valencia Yabut

To our Dad's family and friends.

Thank you for all the love and support during this difficult times for our family.

Ruben was born to Joaquin Yabut and Flora Valencia Yabut in Macabebe, Pampanga, Philippines. He graduated in 1959 Torres High School. Ruben paid his way through college and in 1965, he graduated Far Eastern University Manila with a Bachelors Degree of Commerce. In 1965, Ruben met Cecilia S. Abulencia was married to for 55 years. They had 5 children Christine, Caroline, Cheryl, Rucel, and Chona, and from them had 14 beautiful grandchildren, and 8 wonderful great-grandchildren.

In 1975, Ruben's family migrated to United States. He devoted his life to his faith and family. He was a good man, honest, kind, and always ready to lend a hand to his family and friends. His love for Cecilia could be seen by everyone that knew him, even after her passing. His love was so heartwarming and tenderhearted only proves that true love never ends.

Ruben was a hard worker. He started as a bookkeeper at Corbin Enterprise, Asiantic Lab and East Lab while working a second job at Bazaar Del Mundo. After 20 years, Ruben retired as an accountant for San Diego County. Retirement life included spending time with Cecilia, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, gardening, handy work around the house and finding things to improve around the house.

We were blessed and thankful to have had our dad for 86 years. He is at peace and reunited our mom. We will miss you dad, watch over us. ❤️ Rest and enjoy Heaven. ❤️ We love you always! ❤️
