Sandra Gail (nee Holden) Luck, 81, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2026 surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on March 16, 1945 in Montreal, she lived a life filled with love, kindness, and devotion to her family and friends. She will be remembered for her kind heart, sense of humour, strength, love of family and friends and her selflessness.
She is survived by her ex husband, Clifford Luck, daughter Trudy (Michael Robb), son Trevor ( Tracy Arthur), granddaughter Samantha Hatter, grandsons, Brody, Matthew, Jordan and Erik, brother Ross Holden, nieces Michele,Lynn, Joanne, Nicole, and nephews, Martin and Phillippe with great nieces Carolyn, Eve, Victoria, Rachel, and Emily. She was predeceased by her mother Elizabeth Martin, sister Marsha, sister in law Doreen, nephew Barton, Aunt Pearl and her best friend Cathy Heisler.
She found joy in camping with family, knitting, bowling with the girls, and taking photographs (Kid Kodak). Starting at the age of 17, Sandy worked for CAE having held many pivotal positions in the company until her retirement in 2008. She worked with many friends including Micheal Cregan, Barbara Houston and Lorna Robertson. Those who knew her will always remember her for a light for your smoke, her love of anything Christmas, the collection of clowns, her amazing banana bread and the extensive photo album collection of her favourite people.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, and caregivers who provided compassionate care during her final days. In accordance with Mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date with details to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your charity of choice, if desired.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
