May 10, 2026 Alma, Quebec Dignity Memorial

Sandra Lee Bolshakoff, born June 14th 1940, passed away in her loving home on May 10th, 2026.

Sandra was born in Pasco, Washington to Glenn and Helen Taylor. She attended College of the Redwoods, Del Norte. Sandra dedicated her life to being a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

Sandra enjoyed traveling, soaking up the sun, dancing, music, playing Mahjong, shopping, cooking, reading, roller skating, swimming, animals, researching her genealogy, and nightly Facebook scrolling to keep up with all the latest family posts. Above all else, Sandra loved her family and spending time with them.

Sandra married the love of her life, Gregory Bolshakoff, on September 29th, 1956. Together they spent their years traveling, long-hauling, running Corky’s Pub, and raising a beautiful and deeply loved family.

Sandra’s children include Greg (Taelene) Knight, Greg (Mary) Bolshakoff, Laura (Rick) Kelly, Debra Folz, and Tanjua Urquhart.

Her grandchildren include Dawn, Gabriel, Nikolai, Erik, Kalee, Shanna, Deserie and Danielle.

Her great-grandchildren include Natassia, Mariah, Joshua, Evan, Jalissa, Rikki, Davion, James Jr., Nakita, Natasha, Gregory, Gavin, Riley, Rowan, Mikail, Aleks, Elias, Noah, Rylen, Devryn, Andrew, Nathan, Nevaeh, Chayton, and Auri.

Her great-great grandchildren include Kaitlynn, Olivia, Alaura, Paisley, Adley, Joey, Sutton, Akeylah, Julianna and Paxton.

Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory G Bolshakoff, her parents Gary & Helen Taylor, her siblings, Gary “Butch” & Barbara Taylor, her Daughter Laura Kelly, her Granddaughter Dawn Spencer, her Grandson Erik Bolshakoff, and her Great-granddaughter Natassia Weinholz.

Sandra’s family lost its guiding light, but her wisdom and love will live on in every branch of the family tree she helped grow.

To know Sandra was to be loved fiercely, and to enter her home was to instantly become family. She built a sanctuary of warmth, laughter, good food, and open doors, leaving behind a legacy of unconditional love and strong memories.

A private viewing was held following Sandra’s passing. Per her wishes, she was cremated and her ashes will be spread on Prince of Wales, Alaska where her husband was also spread years ago.

A celebration of life will be held at her home on June 14th, 2026 at 1pm on her heavenly 86th birthday. Doors are open to love, laughter, music, good food, and celebrating the beautiful life of our beloved matriarch, Sandra Lee Bolshakoff.

"Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed." — Proverbs 31:25-28 (KJV)
