Sanh Van Bui

San Van Bui, 88, of Venice, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 26, 2026.

Born in Vietnam on May 23, 1939, Mr. Bui was a college graduate who dedicated his life to serving others. In 1962, he married the love of his life, Anh, and together they built a loving family.

Mr. Bui began his career as a teacher before joining the military in Vietnam, where he proudly served his country and attained the rank of Major. He was a devoted member of the Buddha Temple and found great joy in gardening, traveling, and spending time at the beach. He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service, and his kind and gentle spirit.

Mr. Bui is survived by his beloved wife, Anh; his nine children; eighteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and nine brothers and sisters. His love, wisdom, and legacy will continue to live on through all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Both services will take place at Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Avenue, Sarasota, Florida.
