Scott Edward Brown, 69, of DeQuincy passed into the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. He was born to his late parents, Harvey and Betty Lou Brown on August 30, 1956 in DeQuincy, Louisiana. Scott was a Professional Baseball player and Pitcher having played for the Cincinnati Reds and Kansas City Royals. He played from 1975 until 1983. He then went on to work for Union Pacific Railroad as a Locomotive Engineer. Scott loved watching Westerns, especially Gun Smoke. He also enjoyed Cheyenne, Lawman, and would sing the opening songs.
