Sharlee Holbrook, age 83, of Greenwell Springs, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and a dear friend to all who knew her. A woman of strong faith in Jesus Christ, Sharlee loved her family and friends deeply. She was a proud graduate of Sacred Heart High School in New Orleans and a retired preschool teacher who touched many young lives with her kindness and care.
She is survived by her loving husband, Timothy Holbrook; her daughters, Cynthia Holbrook Diamaria, Elizabeth Holbrook Achee, and Kimberly Holbrook Leo; and her son, Devon Holbrook. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Joseph Diamaria, Samantha Cox, Nicholas Achee, Magnus Leo, and Sophia Leo; and her great-grandchildren, Charlie, Cash, Graham, Grace, and Marceline. She is also survived by her brother, Steve Tassin, and her best friend, Helen Roberie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Magnus and Bessie Tassin; her brothers, Mike and Jerry Tassin; and her niece, Sharlee Tassin.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with a service beginning at 1:00 PM at Greenoaks Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
