Shelva Jean Brown, age 85, passed away May 23, 2026, in Birmingham, Alabama. She was born August 15, 1940, in Polk County, Georgia, and was a resident of Sylacauga, Alabama.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Jerry Brown; her children, Keith Brown (Carleen), Kenny Brown (Carla), Donna Brown (Tommy), and Kevin Brown; her 11 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, B.F. and Annie Ruth Brown; and her brother, Grover Cleveland Brown.
Shelva was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother; as well as an active member of Marble City Baptist Church.
