Stanley Gaines Hardin 92, of Nashville passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026.Stan was a county music recording artist; he recorded seven records with Decca Records in the 1960’s. After his country music career, he worked for metro transit as a city bus driver. Most of all Stan enjoyed his family, living on his farm caring for horses and other animals.He is survived by his children Michael Hardin, Alan Hardin, Yvonne T. Hardin and Tony England (Debbie Morgan).He is preceded in death by his parent Stanley and Eva Hardin; wife JoAnn Hardin, brothers Rosce Hardin and Kent Hardin; sisters Matha Sweezy, Lena Wheatly, Christine Murphy and his girlfriend Eileen Martin.
Gathering of family and friends Friday, June 12, 2026 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Hermitage Funeral Home. Graveside service will begin at 1:00pm at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
