Susan A Dean

Susan A. Dean went to her heavenly home on May 23, 2026. She died peacefully with family by her side.She was preceded in death by her parents, William E Roach and Daisy K Prewitt; her loving husband of 41 years, Joseph A Dean Sr; her sister, Edith Loraine Cain and brother, David L Roach; sisters-in-law, Irene Wilson (Denver), Faye Augaitis (Andrew), Kathleen Long (Raymond) Mary Puckett; brother-in-law, Walter Dean (Grace) and James G. Dean; a long time family member, Carol Burkhead.Susan was a long-time employee of David Craven. The Dean Family were members of Camden Ave Christian Church and later Susan attended South Louisville Christian Church. Susan was a devoted mother, wife and Grandmother.Susan is survived by her brother, William E Roach, sister-in-law, Joyce Kessler, sister-in-law, Doris Roach; her sons, Joseph A Dean Jr., Glenn W Dean (Laurie); her daughters, Bonnie G Dean, Karen L Dean, Terri K Dean, and Alice D McLeod (James). Susan leaves 10 Grandchildren and 17 Great-grandchildren.Funeral service will be 3pm Sunday, May 31, 2026 at Arch L Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, KY 40218.
