Suzanne Jean Cardoni Mullenix, 81, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on September 24, 2026. She was born on January 12, 1945, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to Joseph S. Cardoni Sr. and Claire M. Korischar Cardoni.
Suzanne attended St. Philip Neri Catholic School before graduating from Midwest City High School in 1963. She began her working career with TG&Y and later worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone, where she remained until her retirement.
On June 30, 1984, Suzanne married Thomas R. Mullenix. Together, they built a life filled with family, laughter and wonderful memories. Suzanne and Tom especially enjoyed spending time with their grandchildren, traveling and making trips to the casinos. She cherished the time spent with those she loved.
Suzanne was a beloved sister, aunt, Nonna, wife and friend. She is survived by her husband, Thomas R. Mullenix; beloved stepchildren, Connie Lytle and husband Doug, of Oklahoma City, Roy Mullenix and wife Irma, of Oklahoma City, and Ginger Mullenix and husband Larry, of Oklahoma City; her siblings, Arlene McNally, Joseph S. Cardoni Jr. and wife Connie, Theresa Derrick and husband Kevin, Becky Koonce and husband Chris, Donna Buwick and husband Greg, Cindy Beevers, and Jim Cardoni and wife Claudia; sister-in-law, Robin Cardoni; 6 grandchildren, Nicolas, Charlotte, Jessica, Erica, Lucas, and Brittany; 6 great-grandchildren, Max, Layla, Rayce, Ezra, Avery, and Cece; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph S. Cardoni and Claire M. Korischar Cardoni; her brother, John R. Cardoni; and her brother-in-law, Charles McNally
Suzanne will be remembered for the love she had for her family, the joy she found in traveling and spending time together, and the many memories she created throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
A Graveside Service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13400 North Kelley, Oklahoma City, OK 73131, US, on October 6, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
