Father Terence Nellis passed away at the CHSLD Monseigneur-Ross in Gaspé on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at the age of 90, following 62 years of priesthood. He was the son of the late Terence Nellis and the late Alma Boudreau, of Saint-Jules Parish.
He leaves to mourn his sisters Frances and Geraldine, also many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He leaves also to mourn his brother priests.
The funeral service for Father Terence Nellis will be held at Saint-Georges de Malbaie Parish Church on Thursday, August 27, 2026. Condolences will be received at the church starting at 2:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 3:00 p.m., presided over by Monsignor Claude Lamoureux. Burial will take place the same day at the Saint-Georges de Malbaie cemetery.
