Trudy Marie Spain, 88, of Decatur, AL passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, August 20, 2026. She was born on June 22, 1938 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Trudy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and child of God. She taught middle school English for many years, enjoyed cooking and entertaining, reading, volunteering at the library, and quilting. She lit up a room with her smiles and laughter. She is survived by her children and grandchildren. Her legacy includes her passions and her loving family.
Her funeral service was held at Roselawn Funeral Home & Roselawn Cemetery, with visitation and funeral mass on August 26, 2026.
