Vayola Tremblay

On June 9, 2026, Mme Vayola Tremblay passed away at the Centre d’hébergement Des Chênes, Jonquière, at the age of 86 years and 3 months. She was the wife of the late Mr. Rosaire Thibeault. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Résidence funéraire du Saguenay, 2580, rue St-Dominique, Jonquière, on Saturday, June 13, 2026, starting at 3 p.m.

A prayer will be read on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 5 p.m. at the Résidence funéraire du Saguenay.

She was the daughter of the late Mrs. Laura Lévesque and the late Mr. David Tremblay; as well as the adopted daughter of the late Isabella Verreau and the late Mr. Marc Tremblay.

She leaves to mourn her daughters: Cathy Thibeault (Michel Otis), Sandra; her grandchildren: Sabrina (Martin) and Jean-Michel Otis (Kathleen), Jessica (Louis-Charles), and Vicky Gauthier, along with their father Yves Gauthier; and her great-grandchildren: Alexandre, Gabriel, Matthew (Océanne), and Christopher.

She also leaves her siblings from the family of the late Mr. David Tremblay and those from the family of the late Mr. Marc Tremblay, her close friend Mrs. Marie-Marthe Allard, as well as her nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

The family sincerely thanks the staff of the Centre d’hébergement Des Chênes for the excellent care provided to Mme Vayola and for the importance of a dear person in her life, the late Mr. René Martel. A volunteer will be present at the hall to collect donations in favor of Cancer Saguenay.
