Virginia McCann, also known as Ginny, was born in Dorchester, Massachusetts. She graduated from Monsignor Ryan Memorial High School in 1965 and worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield where she met her husband. She was known for her love of children, her career as an assistant preschool teacher, and her long-time work as a waitress at Haddad’s Ocean Cafe. Virginia was survived by her children and grandchildren, and she had a loving nature and quick wit. She passed away peacefully at the age of 78 in Duxbury, Massachusetts.
Her funeral arrangements included visiting hours at Sullivan Funeral Homes in Hanson and a funeral mass at Holy Family Church in Duxbury. She was laid to rest at Mayflower Cemetery in Duxbury.
