Virginia Ann Yerges

Virginia Ann Yerges, age 105, passed away on June 3, 2026, at the Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, MO.She was born on October 2, 1920, in Ft. Riley, KS to the late Fred and Belle Cornell Brink.On September 22, 1964, in Poplar Bluff, MO she married Royce Edwards Yerges who preceded her in death on April 28, 2007.She is survived by one daughter, Sue (Frank) Lawrence; three stepsons, Les (Tammy) Yerges, Daryl (Mary) Yerges and Stan (Alli) Yerges; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Lacey Allen Edwards, one stepson, Duane Yerges and two daughters, Bonnie Edwards and Sharon Duncan.A visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO followed by a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.Pallbearers will be Ken Duncan, Ethan Duncan, Roger Lawrence and Skewter Haynes.Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.nunneleefuneralchapel.com for the Yerges family.
