Vivian Scudder

Vivian Louise (Boyles) Scudder departed Earth surrounded by family and entered Heaven’s gate peacefully on Sept 6, 2026, at the age of 77.Vivian was born to the (late) Ivan and Fern Boyles who still lives in Iowa and just celebrated her 100th birthday. Vivian was born in Urbana on May 6, 1949. She married Paul “Tony” Scudder on December 14, 1968. They were married 47 years before he went to be with Jesus.Vivian was a member of Miner Baptist Church and was a godly woman mentoring her family to God’s word as she lived daily. Vivian loved to travel and visit with her family. Although Vivian did not work outside the home she worked hard raising her two children. She was a member of the Scott County Rural Fire Protection District and the Blodgett Women’s Club, was delighted to help with the Make A Wish Foundation and the Missouri Baptist Convention Disaster Relief organization and truly enjoyed her time working at Beggs Family Farm in the Fall. Aside from her salvation, Vivian’s greatest joys in life were her family.
