William Boaz Shaw Jr.

William Boaz Shaw, Jr. left this world to be with the Lord on August 19, 2026, at the age of 83.He was born in Fort Worth, Texas to William Boaz Shaw and Berah Adnah Smith. He attended Polytech and graduated from Eastern Hills and attended the University of Texas at Arlington. He joined the United States Marine Corp in 1961 with four of his high school buddies and served our country till January 1967. He would be the first to tell you, “It was my privilege to serve our country”.He worked at Bell Helicopter for a few years, sold life insurance, worked for Moore Transportation for a good while, he was a Toro representative for 30 years setting up outdoor power equipment stores across the State of Texas with Toro equipment. He sold storage buildings and worked at North Main BBQ as their Pit Master for a total about 30 years. He was also Free Mason at Julian Field Lodge #908 and served as a past master mason.He is survived by his partner in life and wife of 24 years, Linda Myrow, his daughters Robin Pribble and partner Joshua Jamieson, Whitney Shaw, Tara Shaw and husband Jason Patane, stepson Brian Myrow and wife Terra, stepson Kyle Myrow,12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sisters Ruth Ann Pritchett and Berah Duvall.
