Willie Mae Roberts, age 82 of Bethlehem, GA, passed away on August 24, 2026. She was born in Cornelia, GA, to the late Ches and Ora Nix. Willie loved her family and loved her Lord. She was a member of Gratis Church in Monroe.
In addition to her parents, Willie was predeceased by her husband of sixty years, Hoyt Roberts. She is survived by her children, Danny (Lisa) Roberts and Patty (Andy) Almond; nine grandchildren: Buster Roberts, Christy Roberts, Matthew Roberts, Luke Roberts, Chloe Roberts, Josh Wilson, Ben Almond, Corie Jackson, and Cathy Almond; and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home, Winder. The Funeral Service will be held in Smith Memory Chapel on Thursday, August 27 at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Mike Peavy officiating. Her burial will follow at Barrow Memorial Gardens.
