Yvette Gignac

Yvette Gignac, daughter of Cécile Gariépy and Lucien Gignac, passed away at the age of 82 at the Institut universitaire de cardiologie et de pneumologie de Québec on May 19, 2026. She resided in Québec. She left behind her siblings Madeleine (Simon Gagnon), the late Jean-Marc (Suzan Bernier), Gilles, Gaétan (the late Hélène Lapointe), Gaétane (Roger Ricard), the late Gaston (Micheline Gagnon), Marcel (Sylvie Fontaine), Serge; nephews and nieces Nicolas, Eric, Dominique, Pascal, Marie-Chantal, Patrick, Lyne, the late Sonia, Stéphane, Mélanie, Martin, François, Julie, Eric, along with their spouses; many grand-nieces and grand-nephews, a great-grand-niece and great-grand-nephew, and numerous cousins and friends. The family thanks the staff of H6000 at the Institut universitaire de la santé mentale de Québec and other departments for taking care of her, as well as her social worker. The family will receive condolences in the presence of the ashes at Résidence Funéraire Réjean Hamel & Filles inc., 11 384, boul. Valcartier, Loretteville, Québec, G2A 2M6, on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 14h to 17h. A Word of Prayer celebration will be held at the lounge starting at 16h.
