Yvon Thomassin, aged 78, passed away at the Hospital de l’Enfant-Jésus on June 13, 2026. He was the husband of Lilianne Fortier and the son of the late Albert Thomassin and Jeanne Bélanger. He resided in Quebec (Beauport district).
A family gathering will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, starting at 10 am at the Espace Partage of the Sainte-Thérèse salon. A memorial celebration will follow at 11 am at the same location. Interment will take place at the Ste-Thérèse-de-Lisieux cemetery.
Yvon leaves behind his wife Lilianne Fortier, his daughter Josée (Ghislain Arial), and granddaughters Jessy and Juliette. He is also survived by his brother André, sisters-in-law Angèle (late Jean-Paul Thomassin), Julienne (late Lucien Thomassin), and numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Kathy, sister Lise, and brothers-in-law Normand, Fernand, and Suzanne.
