Anita, also affectionately known as “Nee Tee” and “Nana” lived her life marked by love, kindness, and devotion to her family. She touched the lives of so many through her warm smile and generous heart. She was someone you could always turn to for guidance and support.
Anita was born to L.W. and Ruby Moore on October 8, 1957. She is survived by her six siblings L.W. Jr., Carolyn, Debra, Michael, Darryl, and Leonard. Her four children, LaRonda (and husband John Howell Jr.), Ronald, Nicole, and Denisha. Seven Grandchildren John Howell III, Jaron, Jordan, Deshaun, Jazmin, Alaiyshia, and Aniyah, and two Great-grandchildren Ruby and Elias.
Moving back to Texas in 1990, she worked at Abbott Laboratories for over 30 years where she retired in 2024. She will be remembered for her love of reading, gardening, spoiling her grandchildren and new found love of traveling.
She is preceded in death by her father L.W. Moore and mother Ruby Moore.
Anita was an amazing mother, nana, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and person in general. She will be incredibly missed by all, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
