Arnold "Jay" Johnston McGinty passed away peacefully early Monday morning with his wife and children by his side.
Jay was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Billie Louise McGinty; his father, Alton Brooks McGinty; his mother, Lillie Mae McGinty; his father-in-law Charlie Jaynes; and his mother-in-law Emily Jaynes.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Lucina "Lucy" McGinty; daughter, Susan McGinty Manning and her husband Richard Manning; his daughter, Martha McGinty Beasley and her husband Richard Beasley; his son, Michael McGinty and his wife Cathleen McGinty; his stepdaughter Jennifer Aleman; his brother, Billy McGinty. He also leaves behind 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Jay was a well known and loved man of God.
