Obituary of Carmelle Côté
On July 13, 2026, at the age of 95 years and 1 month, Carmelle Côté (Minier), wife of the late Mr. Benoit Minier, passed away at the Centre d'hébergement St-François in Chicoutimi. She was the daughter of the late Mme Marie-Jeanne Houde and the late Mr. Alfred Côté.
The family will receive relatives and friends on July 24, 2026, from 12 to 15 hrs at the Complexe funéraire Chicoutimi.
Her ashes will be deposited at the Mausolée/Columbarium St-François-Xavier at a later date.
She leaves in mourning her children: Johanne Minier (Bruno Lavoie), Louise (late Jean-Marc Larouche), Dominique (Rejeanne Tremblay); her grandchildren: Martin Lavoie, Stéphanie Larouche (Luc Turcotte), Catherine Larouche (Shamsodin Taheri), and Alexandrine Vallée (Patrick Hernandez); her great-grandchildren: Eve, Rose, Henry, and Lucy.
She was the sister of the late Michel Côté (Marguerite Boudreault), Lucie (Eugène Roy), and Richard (Reine Lavoie); sister-in-law of Rosaire Minier (late Rita Larouche), the late Lucie (late Gérard Bergeron), Laurent (late Lise Gingras), Jean-Marie, Pauline (late Guy Hudon), Cécile (late Bruno Turcotte), Father Dominique (Benedictine), Béatrice (Paul-Étienne Tremblay), and Anne-Marie (Jean Camiré).
She also leaves many nephews and nieces, relatives, and friends.
The family thanks the staff of the Centre d'hébergement St-François for the good care provided to Mme Côté.
