Carmelle Côté

On July 13, 2026, at the Centre d'hébergement St-François, Mrs. Carmelle Côté (Minier), wife of the late Mr. Benoit Minier, residing in Chicoutimi, passed away at the age of 95 years and 1 month. She was the daughter of the late Mrs. Marie-Jeanne Houde and the late Mr. Alfred Coté.

The family will welcome relatives and friends on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Complexe funéraire Chicoutimi. A celebration of the Word will take place at 3:15 p.m. at the chapel of the 5th season of the same complex.

Mrs. Côté leaves behind her children: Johanne Minier (Bruno Lavoie), Louise (late Jean-Marc Larouche), and Dominique (Rejeanne Tremblay), along with her grandchildren: Martin Lavoie, Stéphanie Larouche (Luc Turcotte), Catherine Larouche (Shamsodin Taheri), and Alexandrine Vallée (Patrick Hernandez), and her great-grandchildren: Eve, Rose, Henry, and Lucy.

She was the sister of the late Michel Côté (Marguerite Boudreault), Lucie (Eugène Roy), and Richard (Reine Lavoie). She was also the sister-in-law of Rosaire Minier (late Rita Larouche), the late Lucie (late Gérard Bergeron), Laurent (Lise Gingras), Jean-Marie, Pauline (late Guy Hudon), Cécile (late Bruno Turcotte), Father Dominique (Benedictine), Béatrice (Paul-Étienne Tremblay), Anne-Marie (Jean Camiré), and the late Alphonse.

Mrs. Côté also leaves many nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends. The family thanks the staff of Centre d'hébergement St-François for the care given to Mrs. Côté.
