Dr. Earl Roy Showerman passed peacefully at home on the night of August 2, 2026, during a waning gibbous moon when Nature’s cycle of transition and release is present. Earl was a dedicated Emergency Room (ER) physician for thirty years, a Harvard and University of Michigan Medical School graduate, and a passionate researcher and author in the field of Shakespeare studies. He was also an accomplished athlete, woodsman, gardener, and a loving family man. His contributions to scholarship and his vibrant life will be dearly missed.
