Franklin Johnson, 89, passed on July 18, 2026.He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Lurie Johnson; spouse, Alease Johnson.He is survived by his daughters, Frances Cash (Kenneth) and Lisa Holifield (Tim); grandchildren, Caleb Cash-Tobey (Jonathan), Conrad Cash, Trevor Holifield (Amanda), and Trent Holifield.Pallbearers will be Caleb Cash-Tobey, Jonathan Tobey, Conrad Cash, Trevor Holifield, Trent Holifield, and Ricky Kinard.Honorary Pallbearers are Pondville Baptist Church and the Morning Porch Crew.The family would like to give a special thanks to Bibb Medical Hospital and nursing home.Visitation will be held at Rockco Funeral Home, on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will take place at Rockco Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 10am with burial to follow at Pondville Cemetery with Bro. David Grisham officiating.
