Heriberto Salinas Guerra

Heriberto Salinas Guerra, 76, passed away on April 24, 2026. He was born on July 6, 1949, and grew up in General Bravo, Nuevo León. At 21, he came to the United States to work, carrying with him a steadfast dedication to providing for those he loved.

A deeply beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Heriberto lived with a quiet faithfulness that was evident in the way he showed up for others: with compassion, patience, and an honesty that did not seek recognition, yet inspired genuine respect. His life was marked by constant commitment and by the kind of care shown through responsibility, consistency, and presence.

Heriberto shared 45 years of marriage with his wife, Esther Gonzalez. Together they built a family sustained by devotion and enduring love. He is survived by his children: David A Salinas, Heriberto Salinas Jr., and Daniel A Salinas. His legacy continues in his grandchildren: Axel D. Salinas, Devany A. Salinas, and David A Salinas Jr., children of David and Emma Gracia De Salinas, as well as Arleth D. Salinas and Aleyda D. Salinas, daughters of Heriberto Salinas Jr.

In the simple rhythms of everyday life, Heriberto found meaning and peace. He enjoyed playing the accordion, fixing up his truck, driving, and gardening—hobbies that reflected his patient character and the satisfaction he found in doing things well, with dedication and care.

The Funeral Service will be held at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060, on May 2, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The Interment Service will take place at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home & Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060, on May 2, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
