Howard Frank Gaines of Austin, Texas, passed away on 8/12/26 at the age of 92. He was born on 07/16/34 in Philadelphia, MS, where he grew up Pacific, MO.He graduated from the Rolla School of Mines. He worked as a geophysicist for Texaco for over 30 years. Frank was actively involved in the American Legion, especially in Neosho, MO.Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Herbert Gaines and Marie Phillimine Traversaz, and son Leonard Gaines.Frank is survived by his spouse, Nina Bernice Gaines; daughters Michelle Gaines and Cheryl Bundy; and brother Tom Gaines.Frank loved the outdoors. He enjoyed gardening and fishing.
