Jerry Neil Weems passed on July 21, 2026, at the age of 77. Jerry was retired from the City of Mountain Brook. He was a Vietnam Veteran, who served with the 199th Light Infantry Brigade and won a Purple Heart and 2 Bronze Stars with Clusters.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Norman Weems, and his mother, Jeanette Hardin Stone.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marcia Weems; his sons, Eric Weems and Terry Weems; his grandchildren, Jackson Weems (Maddie) and Shiloh Weems; his brother, Gary Weems (Jane); his sisters, Jeanie Hall (Ronnie) and Anita Hill (Steve); and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
