Joanne D Altamirano

Joanne is called Nana, friend, neighbor, Aunt, cousin, co-worker......But I call her mom.She was born in Quincy, Massachusetts on July 8, 1938, to Dorothy Dorley who married Albert Martell who raised her as his own.She met her husband, Alfredo Altamirano when h was stationed on the East Coast in the Army. She had two children, Donna and Robert. Our dad passed on January 6, 1995. Mom retired from the IRS in 2008. Her strong will, toughness and her faith pushed her through her illness until it just became too much.She is survived by her children, Donna Perales, Robert Altamirano, his husband Chip, daughter-in-law, Elissa. Grandkids, Michael, Paul, Andreas, Charvi, Julia, Natalie, and Annaveyah. Also, her Yorkie, Scarlett Jane.Graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 10:00am at Clovis Cemetery.
