Karen Lynn Henderson, 62, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026. She was born on January 24, 1964, in Houston, Texas, to Charles B. and Doris Ella Mae Reed.

Karen graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1982. On January 17, 1986, she married her high school sweetheart, Norman L. Henderson. Together, they shared 35 years of marriage filled with love, family, and cherished memories. Throughout the years, Karen worked as an office manager for various furniture companies, where she was known for her dedication and hard work.

Above all else, Karen cherished her family and friends. She had a heart for the people she loved and found some of her greatest joy in being a Meemaw to her beloved granddaughters, Elora Dawn and Molly Jade. She loved making sure her grandgirls always had the best clothes, toys, and personalized gifts. Every time they saw Meemaw, it was Christmas! Her generosity and thoughtfulness were expressions of the immense love she had for them.

Karen's family was her greatest treasure. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her son, Troy Henderson, and his wife, Jessica; her granddaughters, Elora Dawn and Molly Jade; her bonus sisters, Onie Henderson Ryan, Irma Cervantes, Toni Cervantes, and Maria Ortiz; her bonus son, Craig Finch; and the many family members and friends whose lives she touched.

Karen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Norman L. Henderson; her parents, Charles B. and Doris Ella Mae Reed; and her brother, Gary Reed.

Karen leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, laughter, and devotion to those closest to her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, especially in the lives of her granddaughters, who will always carry the love of their Meemaw with them.
