Lane Rudolphus Jenkins Jr.

Lane R. “Bubby” Jenkins, known as “Paw Paw Bub” and “Grandpa Bub”to his grandchildren, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at the age of 87.Lane was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Elaine Jenkins, and three of their children, Travis Jenkins, Terri Jahnke, and Connie Wilson.He is survived by his daughter, Melinda Powell, and his grandchildren, Chris Jenkins, Sydney Jenkins, Jason Jahnke, Morgan Birchfield, Tommy Wilson III, and Brooke Modisette, along with extended family and friends.Lane proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Following his military service, he became a licensed plumber and spent many years working in the trade. He took pride in his work and built a long career through his knowledge, experience, and strong work ethic.Lane lived a long life that spanned generations, leaving behind many stories and memories that will remain a part of his family’s history.
