A gale force wind has now shifted into a whisper. Marcelle Mallet (Munro) took her final bow, unafraid and with an open heart at the age of 84 on June 8th, 2026 surrounded by her loving family at Maria hospital.
She was born on October 5th, 1941 in Shippigan, NB. She is one of 9 siblings of the late Joseph Jacob Mallet and Marie-Helene Rita Paquet of Shippigan, NB.
Once in her 20's, the winds decided to take her across the bay and settle in New Carlisle, Qc where she worked at Quebec Telephone for several years, married the late Thomas (Tommy) Munro and had 2 children. Also preceded in death by her partner Vincent LeGrand. She held both of these significant men in her heart, and her life was blessed by their love and companionship.
Survived by daughters Cindy Munro Kerr (Allan Kerr) and Nancy Munro (Bruce Montgomery). Grandchildren Matthew Thomas Kerr, Samuel Wilbert Kerr and Susie Maryse Kerr.
A private family service will take place.
