Maria Chênevert

At Hôtel-Dieu, on July 27, 2026, Mrs. Maria Chênevert, wife of Mr. Léon McNicoll, passed away at the age of 92. She resided in Windsor. She was the daughter of the late Aldéa St-Onge and the late Emmanuel Chênevert.

The family will receive condolences at the Windsor Funeral Residence, 310 rue St-Georges, on Wednesday, September 9 from 6 pm to 9 pm and on Thursday, September 10 from 9 am to 11 am. A celebration will be held at the salon on Thursday, September 10 at 11 am.

Besides her husband, she leaves behind her children: Patrick, John (Céline Lalonde), Hélène (Michel Laverdière), Julie (Tony Rousseau); her seven grandchildren: Valérie Laverdière (François Harvey), Samuel Laverdière (Valery Doré), Cédric Lalonde-McNicoll (Joannie Rocheleau), Kim Laverdière (Sébastien Cousineau), Janie Lalonde-McNicoll (Mathieu Courchesne), Philippe Rousseau (Rose-Marie Hébert), Emmanuelle Rousseau (Tommy Lemieux); her great-grandchildren: Laurent, Annabelle, Rachel, Frédérique, Adam, Pierre, Loïc, Léo, Louis, Evelyne, Sasha, Élie, Mathilde and the baby Jules.

She was the sister of: Thérèse (late Roger Rousseau), the late Noëlla (late Robert Faucher), the late Lina (late Robert Arel), Loretta, Andréa (late Noël Bruneau), the late Onil, the late Joseph (late Gyslaine Massé), Cécile, Hélène (late Robert G. Noble), Renald, the late Luc (Marianne Boulay), Lucien (Francine Bourdeau), Maurice (Francine Côté), the late Claude (Rolande Perras), Denis (Ginette Parker), and Lucie (Marcel Custeau); sister-in-law of: the late Irène (late Lucien St-Laurent), the late Arthur-Eugène (late Rita Martineau), the late Jean-Marie (late Monique Demers), Georgette, Georges (late Solange Rhainds), Clément (late Pâquerette Desgagné), Annette (late Antoine Lavoie), and the late Paul (Lise Florent).

She also leaves many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
