It is with regret that we inform you of the death of Madame Marie Bélanger Dorris who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 101 years and 7 months. She was the wife of the late Léo Dorris, daughter of the late Adélard Bélanger and the late Hermina Dagenais. She was preceded by her beloved brothers and sister.
She leaves behind her children, Pierrette (Raymond Proulx), Nicole (Réjean Bouvier), Michel (Deny Meloche), and Chantal. She was preceded by her daughter Madeleine (Jean-Paul Pichette), her sons Paul (Lyse Mayer) and Richard (Nicole Meloche).
She also leaves many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, Circle 674.
The funeral will take place on October 24, 2026, at 2 PM at the Cooperative Funeral Home of Outaouais located at 1369, boul. La Vérendrye Ouest in Gatineau. The family will receive condolences starting at 1:10 PM. Messages of condolences can be sent via www.cfo.coop.
