Nicholas Patrick Calhoun of Houston, Texas, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the age of 23. He was born and raised in the Spring Branch area of Houston. Nicholas attended St. Cecilia Catholic School, St. Thomas High School, and Sam Houston State University, where he was pursuing a degree in International Business and was expected to graduate in December 2026.
Nicholas also worked alongside his father and brother in the family business. He was actively involved in the St. Cecilia community and had a passion for sports of all kinds, with Arsenal Football Club being his favorite team.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Calhoun and Nancy Calhoun, and by his uncle, Clay Calhoun.
Nicholas is survived by his parents, Jon and Laura Calhoun; his older brother, Julian Moncada; and his younger brother, Matthew Calhoun.
He was a loving son, brother and friend whose kind heart touched everyone around him from a very young age. He always cared deeply for his family and friends. Always worried about the well-being of others. He loved all sports, enjoyed attending church on Sundays, and brought warmth and joy wherever he went. His beautiful spirit, kindness, and love will forever live in our hearts and memories.
