Quitman Wigginton, 93, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at The State Veterans Home in Kosciusko. He was born March 6, 1933 to Doc Samuel and Francis Hutcheson Wigginton. A life marked by faith, service, and dedication, Quitman devoted himself to his family, his community, and the work he believed in. He was a faithful member of Booneville Church of Christ and proudly served his country in the United States Army. Professionally, he spent more than 30 years at Northeast Mississippi Community College, where he served as Associate Director of Vocational Technical Services and made a lasting impact through his commitment to education and service to others.
