Robert Jeffrey Buser, age 62, passed away on May 18, 2026. Born February 10, 1964.
His lifelong love of trains became more than an interest—it shaped a devoted 32-year career with the New York City transit Authority, where he took great pride in his work and in providing for his family. A steady, hard-working man, Robert expressed his love in his own way.
Robert found contentment in life’s simple, meaningful routines: his first morning coffee, sitting outside and observing nature, sharing good food and good conversation, and spending time with his family. His greatest happiness came from watching his children grow up, and he took deep pride in seeing them become happy, successful, and wonderful adults.
Robert was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Johanna Buser of Forest Hills, New York.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Debra; daughter, Cassidy Drake (Matthew); son, Henry; sister, Johanna Gillen (Andrew); along with many family members and loved ones who will cherish his memory.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
