Roger Warren

Roger Warren was a highly distinguished engineer and philanthropist, known for his pioneering work in hydroelectric power and his philanthropic contributions in Charlevoix. Born in Pointe-au-Pic and educated at McGill University, he was the founding President of Rousseau Sauvé Warren (RSW), a consulting engineering firm specializing in hydroelectric projects. His career was marked by his involvement in major hydroelectric developments in Canada and internationally, most notably the James Bay hydroelectric project, for which he received the Schryer prize. Roger was also deeply involved in community service, supporting numerous local organizations, establishing scholarships, and advocating for cultural and technological advancement. He was honored as an Officer of the Order of Canada and a Knight of the National Order of Québec.
