Ronald “Ronnie or Ron” E’Von Metting Sr. of Houston, TX, passed away peacefully at home, at the age of 80, on June 12, 2026. He was born in Houston, TX on August 30, 1945, to “Chuck” and Syble Mae Metting. He served in Vietnam as a combat medic, graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1974, and was a proud owner of Kwik Kopy #2 in Downtown Houston. He was an active member of Lakewood Methodist Church and Metropolitan Baptist Church, enjoyed teaching Sunday School, and was a beloved father and grandfather. His legacy includes his faith, family, and the love he shared with those around him.
