Shadia M. Isak

She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come... Her children arise and call her blessed." Proverbs 31:25-28.

It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we announce Mrs. Shadia Isak’s departure. The blessed memory of the dearly departed, is the beloved wife of Mamdouh Isak; devoted mother of Michelle Kauffman and Stephanie Burnside; cherished mother-in-law of Ryan Kauffman and Joshua Burnside; and loving Tehta of Cameron and Emma Kauffman. She is also survived by her sisters: Magda Assaad (widow of the late Wafaa Assaad; and her nephew Mike Assaad and his wife Kelly Assaad) and Nadia Salah (and her husband Isam Salah; her niece Robin Persiconi (and her husband Nino Persiconi); and her nephews: Nader Salah (and his wife Lauren Salah), and Maher Salah (and his wife Morgan Salah); and is preceded in rest by her sister, the late Faten Mishriky.

The funeral service will be held at St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church of Houston on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 12:00 PM (424 Mulberry Ln, Bellaire, TX 77401) with burial service to follow at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home (13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079).
