Born on March 31, 1938, in Crisfield, Maryland, she was the daughter of James Mason and Hazel Mason (Nelson). She spent her childhood years growing up in Brooklyn, Baltimore, and later made her home in Savage, Maryland, where she and her beloved late-husband, George, raised their son, Mike.
Known affectionately as "Grammy" to her four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, Suzanne's greatest joy was her family. She enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley and country music, line dancing, hosting family gatherings, and traveling across the United States. She was also a dedicated caregiver to her husband George, ensuring he enjoyed a full and active life despite his disabilities. Her legacy is marked by her caring heart, love for her family, and the joyful spirit she shared with everyone.
