She passed away in Verdun at the age of 75, leaving behind her spouse Jacques Parent, her daughters Geneviève-Awa (Jean-Philippe) and Karine (Sylvain), her grandchildren Jérémie, Justin, and Annabelle, as well as other family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Magnus Poirier funeral complex in Montreal on May 22, 2026, from 15:30 to 20:00. Donations to the Montreal Alzheimer Society are appreciated instead of flowers.
