Gilles Hector Desjardins passed away on August 3, 2026, at the age of 69. He was the son of the late Léo Paul Desjardins and the late Pauline Germain. Gilles is survived by his beloved daughters Julie (Sébastien) and Mélanie (Kareene), his precious granddaughter Zoé, his brothers Guy and Luc, several nephews, nieces, cousins, and after a well-deserved retirement of 17 years, many colleagues and friends. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM at La Coopérative Funéraire de l’Outaouais, located at 1369, boul. La Vérendrye Ouest, Gatineau. The family will receive condolences from 1:30 PM. The family expresses gratitude to the staff of Maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie for the excellent care received, especially Christine for her gentle and dedicated support.
