Patricia Ann Speer Cook White-Waid, 85, of Parrish, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026, at her residence.

Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 10 to 11 a.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Service will follow at 11 a.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Fairview Cemetery, Double Springs. William Tittle will officiate.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mark John Speer, Houston, AL, Estelle and C.W Jackson, Parrish; grandparents, Levi and Pearl Self, Thach, and James and Mary Speer, Houston, AL; brother, Bennett Speer, Parrish, and husbands C.C (Billy) Cook, Jasper, and Charles Peyton White, Parrish.

She is survived by her loving husband E.J. Waid, Parrish; children, Clint Cook (Paula), Smith Lake, and Gail (Mike) Cook, Flatgap, KY; stepdaughters, Robin Baldwin, Double Springs, and Johnna Franks (Jeff), Double Springs; stepson, John Waid (Diane), Decatur. Siblings; brother, Dewayne Speer, Parrish; sisters, Loretta Robinson (Robert), Jasper, and Beverly Ferrell, Sugar Hill, GA. Grandchildren; Jennifer Garlow (Todd), Nick Ude (Suzie), Beckley, WV, and Will Cook, Florence, KY. Great Grandchildren; Bailey, Kellan, and Peyton Hefferman and Billie Sue Ude, Beckley, WV

She leaves behind a large, loving extended family that includes numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, stepchildren, step-grandchildren, and step-great grandchildren, as well as many cherished friends who were all an important part of her life.

Her best friend from work at Arrow was Jewel Odom, Parrish.

Her favorite and best fishing buddy was her niece, Jan Cook, Tuscaloosa.
